5. Previous Year Analysis: How JPSC Makes Papers
When we look at old papers, we see some clear rules. The exam does not change much. If you know these secrets, you can get high marks.
- Direct Fact Questions: JPSC asks very simple facts. "Who was the founder of this dynasty?" or "Where is this waterfall?" You must memorize facts.
- CNT and SPT Acts are King: They always ask 12 questions from these land laws. Do not skip them. Read the basic sections.
- No Guesswork Punishment: Because there is no negative marking, cutoffs go very high (130+ questions correct out of 200). You must attempt all 200 questions. Never leave a circle empty.
- Tribal History is Deep: They ask deep questions about tribal administration systems like 'Manki-Munda'. Read a special Jharkhand GK book for this.
6. Simple Step-by-Step Preparation Strategy
Follow this 3-step plan to study easily and pass the exam.
Step 1: Finish Paper 2 First (Months 1 & 2)
Buy a good Jharkhand GK book. Read about history, tribes, and geography. Since it gives 110 marks, reading it first will make you very confident.
Step 2: Read Lucent for Paper 1 (Month 3)
For Indian History, Geography, and Science, just read the Lucent GK book. Do not buy huge UPSC books. JPSC asks simple questions that you can find in Lucent.
Step 3: Solve Daily Mock Tests (Month 4)
Give a full mock test every day. Check your time. If you do not know an answer, practice guessing logically because there is no negative marking.
7. Important Books to Read
Do not fill your room with books. Buy only these few books and read them 10 times.
